I use the Tasks view on Google Calendar as a checklist for things I plan to do each day. This procedure shows how to set up Google Tasks as reminderss in your daily calendar, so that you can tick them off as you complete them.
Step 1 - Set the calendar to 2 Weeks view and click My calendars
Step 2 - Click Tasks and select a colour
Step 3 - Minimise the Tasks view from the right side of the calendar
Note: If you can't see the arrow to minimise the Tasks view, go to Settings and change your view to Comfortable or Cosy (not Compact).
Step 4 - Click on a day to set up a new task
